Map of Kanzas & Nebraska from the original surveys, Drawn and engraved for Hales History’

We are proud to offer this extremely rare map of Kansas and Nebraska Territories. Shown are proposed railroad routes, Col. Fremonts route and Gov. Steven’s Survey route. The map was issued in Hale’s “Kanzas and Nebraska: The History, Geographical and Physical Characteristics, and Political Position of those Territories.” The map is beautifully framed with a bronze decorative frame, a black leather mat, followed by a distressed silver frame, an a marbled paper inner mat.
