Concord Quadrangle, California

This 1914 map of the California Concord Quadrangle shows Tejon formations, Martinez formations, Chico formation, the San Pablo formation, Siesta formation, the Moraga formation, the Alameda formation, and the various marsh deposits and shales throughout the Concord quadrangle. It labels faults, concealed faults, overthrusts, and organizes the formations by their contents of sedimentary, metamorphic, and igneous rocks. The map shows parts of Monte Del Diablo, Juntas, Boca De La Canada, Pinole, San Antonio, Alameda, Franklin, Oakland Harbor, Fruitvale, San Lorenzo, Concord, and Mount Diablo. The map also shows some farms, neighborhood grids, railroad lines, and bodies of waters throughout the area. A very insightful map to anyone interested in geology!
