FRAMED World Hemispheres

This is a fascinating smaller 19th century map showing us the globe in two spheres “Land Hemishphere” and “Water Hemisphere”. On the left we see basic views of the continents, each distinctively hand colored, on the right we see the Oceans of the world dotted with islands and some land mass. This is a unique projection and a very 19th century way of looking at the world, one of neat categorization and evaluation. Handsomely framed with ornate inner liner, cloth mat, dark wood frame and UV glass, all archival measures have been taken.
