French artist Georges Goursat used the moniker SEM when signing his work starting in 1890. Most of his work is associated with the Belle Epoque, where he did many caricatures of French society. He also created several posters for tourist towns, including this one for Cannes. This vintage poster depicts a lovely women sitting on a bench with her golf clubs at her feet. Cannes, written on top of flowers and fruit with a scenic view of the water and land in the background.
